Thermal Conductivity of Copper by Angstrom Method

APPARATUSUSED:

1. Angstrom’sexperimental set-up consists of 0 - 50V and 0 - 4 amp. A.C. supplyfitted with voltmeter and ammeter with built-in signal generator which providethe square wave signal to the power supply with a time period of 38 sec. 

2. SampleRod: Copper rod 50 cm long and 2.5 cm dia fitted inside the wooden box toprotect from the energy loss.

3. Heatercoil: Fitted on copper rod.

4. Thermometer(0-200 oC) - Set of 03

5. Stopclock and connecting leads.
